Service Runs in the Family

Dan's grandfathers both served in World War II. Dan's father spent 29 years serving Cheyenne as a firefighter. Dan's mother founded the city's first Montessori school.

Today, Dan serves as a Space Operations Officer in the Air Force Reserve, directs LCCC's Center for Business and Economic Analysis, teaches economics law and policy, and helps coach cross-country at East High. He’s ready to serve you in the State Legislature next.

Built for This

Dan McIntosh was born and raised in HD11. Dan worked in the trades through his teens and college, then built long-haul telecom infrastructure, the backbone networks that power Wyoming’s economy. He’s started and grown small businesses of his own, and now spends much of his time helping the next generation do the same: he teaches economics law and policy at LCCC and mentors startups like a Laramie County aerospace company founded by one of his former students.

He serves as a Space Operations Officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

He directs the Wyoming Center for Business and Economic Analysis at LCCC, an institution his own grandfather served as an architect, now in its 40th year.

Dan chooses to live in Cheyenne to be near family and raise one of his own. A former elite professional athlete, he now coaches cross-country at East High. He volunteers with the Unaccompanied Student Initiative, Rooted in Cheyenne, the Children’s Museum, and the Mayor’s Community Technology Advisory Council, building on years of earlier volunteer work at the Comea Shelter as a teen and young adult.

He’s running for HD11 because the people who built this community—firefighters, teachers, veterans, tradespeople, small business owners—deserve a representative who actually comes from that world.

Delivering for the District

Getting things done in Cheyenne requires working together and Dan has the relationships with Republican leadership and legislators. He'll be in the rooms where key decisions get made – like who’s Speaker of the House and who leads committees that matter – and his constituents' voices will be in there with him.
